I am Angelika Eberhardt, the creator of AbraPalabra.
I have been working as a conference interpreter and translator for more than 20 years.
I completed an undergraduate degree as an interpreter specialising in business and economics in 2000 (‘Diplom-Dolmetscherin’) and went on to do an MBA from 2012 to 2015.
My working languages are German (native speaker), French, English and Spanish.
Professional domicile (interpreter): Geneva, Switzerland
Thanks to my extensive network, I can also recruit excellent interpreters and translators for other language combinations and for projects all over the globe.
I am a member of the following professional organisations:
- AIIC: International Association of Conference Interpreters
- ASTTI: Swiss Terminologists, Interpreters and Translators Association
- VKD: German Association of Conference Interpreters
As a member of these professional bodies, I observe the respective professional guidelines and codes of ethics
in relation to a professional work ethic and maintaining client confidentiality amongst others.
When I hand-pick other interpreters and translators, I focus primarily on members of the above associations whom I know personally or who are recommended to me.
